However, my objective is to provide a judgement-free zone where you can express your feelings comfortably and feel truly heard. With more than two decades of experience in mental health across various settings, I bring a unique perspective to counseling. My degrees from Shippensburg University, Chestnut Hill College, and Northcentral University provide a strong foundation in Psychology. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and EMDR-trained therapist, I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults wrestling with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, stress, grief, and self-esteem issues. My therapy approach is warm, honest, compassionate, and rooted in earnestness. I tailor my practice to my clients, using different frameworks like CBT, DBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed care, instead of a uniform approach. On a personal note, my lifelong fascination for understanding human emotions drove me to become a therapist. It's been rewarding to witness the transformative power of therapy when individuals find a safe, supportive space to work towards meaningful change. Outside my professional sphere, my leisure pursuits include creative writing, psychology research, and bonding with my therapy dog, Nova.
