Psychotherapist
265 3rd St, 2nd Fl, Beaver, PA
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we will ever do.” – Brene Brown. With these words in mind, I offer an empathetic, nonjudgmental, safe space where clients can explore their life story and the challenges they are facing. Using an individualized cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approach, I utilize evidence-based practices to guide how we work together to tackle the issues YOU want to work on. Additionally, Solution-Focused Therapy helps clients construct different realities moving forward with the way they see themselves, their family, and their situations. I specialize in addressing feelings of stress, depression, anxiety, anger, sadness, and trauma. These feelings often occur alongside social and relationship difficulties, dissatisfaction with life or self, and other ongoing demands. I am also passionate about working with religious abuse/church hurt, guilt/shame, and trauma related to the body such as abuse, injury, and sexual assault. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Geneva College, which have equipped me with a strong foundation to support clients through their healing journeys. “Life is a journey, not a destination.” The same can be said of therapy. It is a process that can be difficult but also beautiful and transformative. I would be honored to join you on your journey of healing.
