Hi there, I'm Deanin! My name is Deanin Willsun. I am a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Approach, Trauma Informed Care and Play Therapy. My approach I am available for you to seek clarity and purpose in a calm, safe, supportive and non-judgmental preferred environment of your choice through teletherapy. I will work with you to explore and identify your concerns, struggles, and/or barriers that may cause you to feel stuck in your life. We will work together to create and develop meaning and purpose to build a successful plan for the journey of your satisfaction. I enjoy working with individual children, adolescents, teens, and adults. Within these approaches, I provide active listening, reflection and validation. I occasionally provide homework assignments as I believe it allows for clients to continue to reflect and process the work from the session I am here to help. My focus My client focus includes: children ages 6-10, preteens, teenagers and adults. I provide teletherapy services to client that live with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transition, stress, low self-esteem, adjustment, school challenges and coping mechanisms. My communication style I listen to my clients, engage honestly, and provide reflection and validation them the things they share and process. I also assign homework to ensure self-reflection and continued processing. My journey to mental healthcare I received Master's degree from Adler Graduate School in Mental Health Clinical Counseling and School Counseling. I have spent alot time helping people as a family case manager and that lead to me going to gradute school to become a clinical counselor and school counselor. I have worked in the field of mental health well over 10 years providing, case management, school counseling, childrens therapeutic support services, therapy services, crisis services and play therapy.
