I acquired my Bachelor's degree in psychology at Marian College, Fond Du Lac, and a Master's degree in educational/professional counselor tract from Concordia University, Mequon. I've recently added a certificate in Neuropsychotherapy from Mind Works Professional Education, Inc. to my qualifications. I bring to the table nearly three decades of experience working extensively with individuals afflicted with substance use disorders, chronic mental health disorders, and developmental disabilities. I have provided my services in numerous care settings ranging from clinics to residential facilities. I spent five enriching years providing in-home therapy and case management in a Community Support Program. A strong advocate for neurodivergent individuals, I aim to assist my clients in building healthier relationships, managing their moods effectively, and overcoming anxieties. My treatment approach revolves around the exploration and regulation of emotions, and addressing ineffective behaviors and beliefs. The unique blend of coaching and counseling strategies ensures an optimized treatment experience focused on genuine, enduring change. My passion for mental health stemmed from personal experiences in supporting loved ones battling mental health issues and my own life challenges.
