My approach is empathetic, nonjudgmental, and collaborative.
In working with clients my counseling approach in cooperates the modalities of strengths-based perspective, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, I am a trained clergy for the past 16 years, of which I able to provide spiritual counseling for clients who need it
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Typically, in my first session with clients we focus on rapport building, this provides insights on my clients’ journey and what they hope to achieve from our sessions. Meeting a therapist for the first time can be anxiety provoking, hence I strive to create therapeutic space where clients can feel comfortable.
