What should a new client know about working with you?

My clinical framework consists of Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I use a combination of directness, consistency and praise during each session to reflect on progress towards targeted goals. I describe myself as a relatable, empathic listener and affirmative of ones lived experiences. I can help my clients navigate challenging life transitions, make positive changes and hone in on their sense of resilience by providing a safe, judgement free space for one to truly explore all aspects of themselves.

During this session we will review consent to treatment, confidentiality, attendance and fee agreement and establish a treatment plan, including frequency of therapy sessions as well as any other additional support recommendations or appropriate level of care or other referrals will also be addressed.
