Hello, I'm Debora. No one can predict what obstacles life will bring us. It is difficult when we can't control the unexpected, that happens from day to day. Although it can be overwhelming, I'm here to help you maneuver life's stressors while learning strategies that will empower you in becoming the best version of yourself. In 2008, I graduated from Amberton University with a master's degree in Professional Counseling and School Counseling. I have worked in the school setting from elementary to high school. I enjoy working with adolescents and the families that care for them. Prior to becoming a school and mental health professional, I worked with abused and neglected youth placed in the foster care system, homeless teens, and as a qualified mental health professional. My primary goal is to help others navigate their issues by guiding them to view their difficulties with a different perspective while utilizing new approaches. I specialize in areas such as anxiety, depression, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anger management, grief/bereavement, stress, addiction, ADHD, bipolar disorder, family relationships, military/veteran support, PTSD, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma. I am confident that we can overcome the roadblocks together! I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to find the best path forward. My approach is compassionate and non-judgmental, creating a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
