I have had a long career in human services, working in community mental health in Los Angeles, CA, and Miami, FL. I am a seasoned therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and couples through their concerns and challenges. I hold a Master’s in Psychology from Antioch University, which has deepened my understanding and skills in this field.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I work collaboratively and respect that you, as the client, have the answers. I view my role as your guide, providing a safe, trusting, and empathic environment where you have the freedom to discover your own path and make the changes you want to see in your life.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic counseling. I also use Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused modalities. I have experience working with individuals and families dealing with anger management, anxiety, grief and loss, depression, trauma, PTSD, and all forms of abuse.
I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your specific and unique needs. Throughout our time together, I will provide strategies, frameworks, and feedback to support and encourage you through the process of change.
