Deborah Goza, LPC

Deborah Goza, LPC

Psychotherapist
LA
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in Louisiana with more than 23 years of professional work experience, including recent university classes. I am a down-to-earth individual, with an approach to counseling that includes facts and therapy that "makes sense". I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion My approach My approach to therapy is first to learn about yourself in order to effect change. I use person-centered, cognitive behavioral approaches and other scientifically proven methods to bring change. My focus I will tailor my communications with your needs. I work with trauma experiences as well as depression, anxiety, and overall being able to function as highly as possible. My communication style I am down-to-earth and attempt to communicate in a common-sense method so that it can be clearly heard and a plan put into place to accomplish that plan. My journey to mental healthcare I have seen that other people struggle with the same issues that I have had in many cases. It is frustrating to be confused and not know how to reestablish relationships or be happy in your journey through life. It is important for people to feel fulfilled and hopeful, and that is what I wish to share. My goals for you We come up with treatment goals together. This is based on what the client wants to accomplish. We can then establish agreed-upon methods to reach these goals. My first session with you I will take down important information to get started, and just enter the session as if we were in a regular conversation, just getting to know each other.
