Hello, I'm Deb. Life can be tough to navigate at times, especially when going through major life transitions. These things can greatly impact our well-being, especially if we do not have the proper tools to work through them. It can seem impossible to deal with these life stressors and escape from the overwhelming feelings that accompany them. I can help guide your mental health journey, and together we can learn how to manage the challenges life throws at you.
I work with clients of all ages who are struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and with couples dealing with affairs. Our time together is a joint journey. I utilize theoretical approaches such as Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and self-compassion to build a road map of how to help you make desired goals.
My background includes working at a mental health center, private practice, and for non-profits. This diverse background has helped me grow my compassion and ability to meet individuals where they are. My passion is working with those individuals who want to explore how to approach their anxiety, depression, trauma, and life differently. There are several skills that calm our nervous system down to work through feelings. This allows us to have a more clear and stable outlook on our life.
I work with youth, families, and individuals of all ages, and I am LGBTQ+ friendly. I am only offering sessions online at this point. My credentials are Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS). Please note that I can accept several insurances and Medicare.
