Life is full of ups and downs, challenges and joys. My passion is to work with individuals (adolescents to seniors) and couples as they navigate their own respective journeys. Whether you are dealing with stress, loss, anxiety, depression, anger, life changes, health, or marital issues, my goal is to help you overcome obstacles as you continue on your path. No two people experience life the same way, and being able to develop treatment plans and goals tailored to your unique needs is what I find most rewarding. Getting to know Deborah Levine

I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively through your challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic approach includes the use of mindfulness, holistic, spiritual, people centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. Listening to, and working with clients, is vital in setting up a constructive treatment plan that will resonate with your personal strengths, needs and goals. I have experienced many of life's challenges and feel that I have been able to grow from each one. Empathy, compassion, and the ability to hear your needs have enabled me to not only advocate for you, but to work to the best of my ability with you, in order to experience personal growth and insight along your unique journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We will begin by discussing what issues are you facing and or working through and your goals for therapy. We will then explore your present and past as a means to determine any unhealed traumas, etc. The journey is yours so we will go where you want and I will help you assess, process and heal the wounds you are working to resolve. I do not have a pre-dertmined agenda, rather I prefer to enable you to be an active participant in the process.
