Getting to know Deborah Peyton

Hi I’m Deborah. Life is life-in everyone and the positive thing about coming to counseling is finding the therapist who can help you learn to love yourself through it all. Whether you’re going through grief and loss because of a ended relationship or losing someone, because of domestic violence, because you just want to change your life and do something different, I am here to help you. I am therapist that listens and doesn’t judge. I graduated in 2009 with an M. Ed. degree in counseling from Lindsey Wilson College. I started practicing in the field in 2018 after being granted a LPCA license after many years of working with autistic children. I have worked with not just autistic children I have worked with clients who have ADHD adult and adolescent, domestic violence, grief and loss, and other clients with other diagnosis and mental health issues. In treating clients, I like to use reality therapy or CBT which also can involve many forms of eclectic counseling to behavioral aspect of treatment which could include REBT and many other person-centered treatments.
