Getting to know Deborah Ridgeway

I grew up in the Midwest and I spent 20 years as a teacher before I became a clinical social worker/therapist. I love what I do because I really believe in supporting people in coping skills to get through a particular situation, examining and coming to terms with their past or considering a big change in their life. As an older clinician, I draw on a lifetime of experience when supporting clients. I am a creative problem solver, have a good sense of humor and believe that change is both inevitable and exciting. I provide hands-on worksheets and reading materials as an optional tool for growth. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and understand neurodiversity from a lifetime of being that way!
