I am an LCSW-C board-approved supervisor who works with individuals experiencing trauma, grief, hoarding, substance misuse, and eating disorders. I have experience supporting veterans, older adults, and LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as adults with extensive histories of trauma from diverse cultural backgrounds. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Catholic University of America. I believe that through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, individuals can live fulfilling lives and heal from old wounds that impact their relationships and well-being. Over the past 15 years, I have provided supportive counseling, dedicating a significant portion of my career to working with individuals from marginalized backgrounds. I believe we all deserve love, autonomy, and to feel truly heard. As we process our experiences, having an empathetic listener can be healing-someone who helps shift perspectives and fosters deeper self-understanding. I enjoy listening to people's stories and affirming the tremendous gift they are to our community. I recognize that there is no cookie-cutter therapeutic approach, so I tailor my techniques to each client's unique needs. I incorporate principles of EMDR, harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can grow and lead fulfilling lives.
