What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a goal-oriented therapist. I will kindly challenge you, encourage, and guide you as needed in your counseling journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

An intake session is the first session, to gather information about you and your presenting problems. You will be part of the creation of your goals, to be achieved in counseling. A typical session starts with reviewing of homework and/or progress since prior session. The bulk of the session will be working on goals, processing, etc. Final 5-10 minutes is for summarizing session and scheduling.
