Hello, I am Deborah M. Wilson, Ed.D., LPC, LCDC. I have worked in the field of counseling for almost 30 years, and taught on the graduate level for almost 20 years. I have experience in community mental health and education. My specialties include addictions and and the African diaspora with a specific focus on identity development and consider my approach integrative. I engage clients in a developmental / holistic approach in the therapeutic relationship. The one thing I stress with clients is that counseling works! Research indicates that 80% of clients are able to realize that the cost/ benefit of engaging in counseling if positive overall; and if at first you don't succeed please try it again. I limit my practice to GA, MI, and TX in the U.S. I look forward to working with you!
