OH
Hello, please call me Debra. I have been practicing Social Work in the field of Addictions for close to 20 years. I completed my education with a MSSA degree from CWRU. I have experience working from the Criminal Justice arena to a HMO in Mental Health/Addiction ending at the VA hospital. Some common negative concerns with addiction are relationships, employment, health, mental health, and legal. Dealing with these issues can leave you feeling angry, depressed, anxious, feelings of low self-esteem ad hopelessness. I know these challenges don't just affect you-they affect your family and loved ones, too. I will help you, help yourself gain the skills to improve life balance, clarity, improve family relationships while using evidence-based proven approaches. We can start with a comfortable, safe, no judgement space. I combine approaches such as MI, CBT, Stages of Change, Solution-focus, and Family systems to help bring you to a place of clarity. We'll start where you are and move forward from there. Take the first step today, you have the strength to change, and I have the expertise to help you along the way.
