What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all experience. My approach is person-centered, meaning I meet each client where they are and tailor treatment to their unique experiences, strengths, developmental stage, and goals. Whether I'm working with a child, teenager, or adult, I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of judgment. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside other evidence-based interventions, I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping strategies that promote emotional wellness, confidence, and personal growth. For children and teens, I also work collaboratively with parents or caregivers, when appropriate, to support progress outside of sessions. Together, we'll focus on what matters most to you and move at a pace that feels comfortable.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work begins with getting to know you or your child, including your strengths, challenges, and the goals that brought you to therapy. Together, we'll identify areas of concern and develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs, values, and stage of life. As therapy progresses, we'll build practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. We'll focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, and developing healthy coping strategies. My goal is to provide consistent support in a compassionate environment where children, teens, and adults feel empowered to overcome challenges, build resilience, and create lasting positive change.
