Debra Vaughn, LPC

Psychotherapist
1011 Brookside Rd, Allentown, PA
Hi, I'm Debra, and I love being a therapist. It is a privilege to provide support and guidance to people working to better themselves and to connect to others in such a meaningful way. I work with individuals ages 10 and up to manage anxiety, depression, and stress, as well as to develop coping skills and improve self-esteem. Counseling is a collaborative process in which a strong therapeutic relationship is vital to successful client outcomes. I am strengths-based in practice, meaning YOUR unique attributes and skills are central to eliciting positive changes and facing adversity. Though my default approaches are person-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral, I am trained in various evidence-based techniques. I earned my MEd in Counseling from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and am adaptive to the unique and specific needs of each person I serve. I take pride in striving for a high level of cultural competency and believe great value is found in learning about and celebrating diversity.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
