I am and always have been deeply fascinated by relationships and human behavior. From a very young age, I was certain that my career path would involve helping others. I am passionate about connecting deeply with people and listening to their beautiful and uniquely woven stories. My goal is to create a safe space where you can comfortably share your inner thoughts and feelings, knowing you can speak freely and with zero judgment. I listen attentively and empathize with you while simultaneously encouraging you to address the unhealthy roles, ineffective patterns and behaviors, and difficult emotions that might be keeping you ?stuck? in your life. Through our work together, you will develop increased self-awareness that will promote greater self-acceptance and the feeling of being at peace. My greatest joy in this role is to partner with my clients and walk next to them on their own unique paths. It would be my privilege to be a part of your unique healing journey. Life is bittersweet. When we can let darkness and light co-exist, we can experience true happiness. The bitter moments make us stronger, and the sweet ones allow us to appreciate life. DeeDee earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received a Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago's School of Social Work. She is also a life skills coach. DeeDee's expertise includes working with high-functioning individuals, people who struggle with serious anxiety and depression, emerging young adults, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She believes in a client-centered, nonjudgmental approach where she listens deeply, engages interactively, and empowers her clients so they can live full lives finding deep meaning and joy.
