Getting to know Deena Weitoish

Hello!! My name is Deena, and I am in the middle of my 4th year as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been providing outpatient mental health treatment for a total of 7 years. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of New England. I love working with my clients to help them see that their life does have meaning and to show them that they aren't defined by their problems. I can help with a range of difficulties including everyday stressors, anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, anger issues, social concerns, and other trauma-related issues. I want to help you get through the rough times so that you are able to see what all life has to offer!! I utilize a strengths-based approach that allows you to see the positives in any situation. Therapy isn't easy, but once you learn the skills to work through the problems of now, you will be able to sort out problems in the future as well! I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which can help you reprocess events that have happened in your life to reduce the traumatic effect they have!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Following sessions with me you will know what it feels like to be heard. I meet you where you are, not where society feels you should be. After being in treatment you'll have the ability to manage stressors at a more functional level and could resolve past traumas that are causing you to stall out where you are now. Coping skills and self care are also two of the biggest take aways from sessions that I conduct.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
