My work is rooted in helping you build resilience, gain insight, and develop solid action methods while navigating the changes that come along in life. Life changes, like the death of a loved one, a breakup, moving to a new city, or relationship issues with friendships, co-workers, or partners, can feel overwhelming.
My style reflects a rich sense of curiosity, compassion, and warmth. I believe that humor blended with lots of respect and smart strategies can be a highly effective therapeutic tool! I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from New York University, and throughout my now 10+ years of experience, I've found that gaining insight while identifying obstacles and problematic patterns, using evidence-based tools and lots of creativity, can help people build lasting life changes.
My goal for therapy is to help each person function at their best through all sorts of situations or problems that pop up in life. Regardless of the type of change, change is going to happen to you at some point in life (it'll happen a few times!), and I believe counseling can be a great, healthy way to navigate that transition as smoothly as possible.

I aim to help each individual attain more complete self-understanding; develop skills for improving relationships; find new ways to cope with stress and anxiety; improve communication skills; break negative and self-destructive patterns; increase career satisfaction; and, increase self-esteem and self-confidence.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits
