Thank you for taking time to read my bio. My name is Denedria Banks. I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and Nevada. I received my Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Child Development from California State University at Northridge in 1995, and earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from California State University at Sacramento in 2001. In 2005, I self-published Melodies of My Life: A Disabled Girl's Journey To Womanhood. I previously worked extensively in the medical arena specializing in the areas of Nephrology, HIV, Alzheimer's/Dementia and Hospice (End-of- Life Care). For the past 9 years, I have provided psychotherapy services specializing in the areas of depression, chronic illness, life transitions, and grie & loss. I am trained in various theoretical approaches (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychosocial Development Theory, and Systems Theory) and will use a combination of approaches with my clients as I don't believe in a "cookie cutter" approach to therapy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
