I am hopeful and eager to help you reach your goals. My approach My therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioral therapy. I focus on helping you replace the lies you believe with the truth. I also use a strength-based and solution-focused approach to guide you toward emotional healing. My focus I primarily work with adult women. My communication style I have a direct approach and tend to be straightforward. My journey to mental healthcare I became a social worker 13 years ago. My journey to social work and counseling is a journey of emotional healing. The work I encourage my clients to do is work that I have done, and am currently doing myself, to understand and change any negative thinking patterns. My goals for you I approach goal setting by discovering what you'd like to work on and strategizing how to achieve your goal using the SMART (specific, measurable, action, realistic, and timely) method. My first session with you I ask a lot of questions. I am holistic in my approach and want to know who you are physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. I also take the time to understand your childhood and patterns of thinking.
