Denielle is a full time School Counselor in an NYC Independent School and has extensive experience working with school aged students as well as their families. Denielle is familiar with IEPs and is available to collaborate with school support staff. Denielle has experience with anxiety, depression, grief, boundary work, relationship stressors, past family trauma and more. She has worked with individuals (childhood to adulthood), couples, and families.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Denielle’s therapeutic focus is on helping clients develop their emotional intelligence, building skills to better regulate emotions, thoughts and behaviors. Supports clients in identifying negative or unhealthy thinking patterns and how to disrupt them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our therapy sessions will always be a safe, non judgmental, and welcoming space. Sessions will prioritize patience and empathy for the client, necessary skills in the therapeutic process. It is important to be able to process past experiences, work through uncomfortable feelings, and begin to make life changes without shame or guilt getting in the way.
