Getting to know Denise Garner

Whether you prefer to jump or journey through life, allow me to be a Life Support for your emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being. My desire is to serve as a support to those who have suffered a loss and provide care you deserve. The goal is to work through your grief with an understanding of the stages of loss, grief/bereavement process, and your growth. I pursued a career in social work 25 years ago to help others problem solve through difficulties and challenges with the practice of varying evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment approaches. I have a MSW from North Carolina State University and an MRE from Shaw University Divinity School. I will help you bring into focus the importance of understanding loss and the effects that unresolved grief can have on daily living related to your physical, mental, and spiritual health.
