My name is Denise Jones-Kazan, LCSW. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 1998. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Yeshiva University. My passion has always been working with clients who have faced challenging life circumstances. I thrive on continuing to grow and learn as a clinician. This hunger for knowledge has led me to become Certified in EMDR and an Emotion Focused Therapist certified supervisor candidate. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, AEDP, and Sensorimotor Therapy. I work with adults in individual and couples therapy. I bring commitment, passion, and a genuine desire to help clients on their healing journey.

I bring clear and concise treatment planning done in collaboration with the clients goals. I feel strongly in therapy being a bridge toward a more healthy relationship with one’s self and others and ultimately in the creation of healthier communities.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
