My name is Denise Lalande-Phipps, and I am an LCSW licensed therapist with a Master's in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work. I have over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples, offering guidance and compassion. I have worked in various therapeutic settings, including private clinics, hospitals, and residential care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, utilizing Client-Centered therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness and Compassion-focused therapy. I also am very considerate of those who have a faith based practice and find it valuable in the healing process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Being in the moment and unpacking feelings is a process which is sacred in session. Also recognizing alternative ways to look at life's stressors can be empowering. Each session can be different and hopefully impactful.
