What should a new client know about working with you?
She places a strong emphasis on the importance of meeting the client where they are at in their treatment and her laid back, non-judgmental personality helps clients feel safe and open. Fostering the relationship is essential in therapy and her friendly easy-going approach will facilitate sharing your thoughts and experiences with ease.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
Once your session is confirmed, within 48 hours you should receive an email from Headway (check spam folder), enter your information, view policies and you can confirm any fees like deductibles, copays and self pay options if out of network. Headway must be completed before session.
Out of Network fees:
Initial session rate: $160 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session rate: $130 for 45 minutes
The first session will be an Intake Assessment to get to know more about you and together identify targeted goals for treatment.

I have been seeing Denise for the last couple of months and it has been super helpful. She is not only an empathetic listener but also asks thoughtful questions that help reframe your thinking and get to the root of your situation. I originally signed up for therapy to just have someone to talk to and didn’t really feel like I needed it, but as time has passed and life has gotten harder, my meetings with Denise have really become something I look forward to. Finding a therapist you connect with can be challenging but I highly recommend trying a session or two with Denise to see if you’re a good fit and you’ll see how smooth it was to open up about life. It’s nice to feel like you have someone that genuinely cares about how you’re doing and will root for you when you need it most!!

I can’t recommend Denise enough as a therapist. She’s very easy to be fully open and honest with, she challenges when you need it, she really has a desire to help and is actually helpful. Very thankful for her!

She never notified me that she was unable to do the appointment. I was waiting 22 minutes and called her office. Nobody answered me. I left a voicemail. Then she called me. She said she has tome time for me today. And just only 30 minutes tomorrow for the full price. I feel really upset it’s the second therapist that canceled my appointment without letting me know!

Denise is amazing! Such a great listener. Very warm and I felt comfortable with her immediately. She had a calm demeanor but also was able to give me what I needed to hear. I left her feeling lighter and optimistic. Highly recommend!
