Hi there, I'm Denitra! Hi! I'm Denitra Beasley, LPC-S, an African American faith-based licensed Louisiana provider. I hold a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University. My primary areas of focus include relationship concerns, adjusting to life transitions, depression, and anxiety. Though I am a Christian provider, I welcome all beliefs, cultures, and backgrounds. My approach I believe there aren't any cookie-cutter approaches to therapy; however, we each attain healing and wellness using various means. My therapeutic approaches are primarily eclectic and include hints of solution-focused, reality, Rogerian, cognitive behavioral, or Gestalt techniques. My focus My clients are usually male and female, ranging in age from 14 to 67 on average. Many of my clients have a faith-based background; however, some are not faith-based. My communication style I enjoy creating a warm and comforting environment for my clients. I have been told my therapy style challenges clients to create their own healing by doing things outside of their normal routine. I've found that these techniques encourage clients to achieve and maintain their goal of wellness. My goals for you I often encourage my clients to identify what they would like to say about themselves once they have completed the therapy process.
