Getting to know Dennis Ray Bartsch
Hey there. I'm Dennis, aka Denny Bartsch. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Western Kentucky University and have been in the field for over 15 years. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and Strength-Based techniques in my practice. I'm a goofy social worker who likes to use a non-confrontational approach when working with my clients. I truly believe you know your story and life better than I ever will, so I value what you have to say.
One thing that makes me pretty different from other service providers is that I saw a need for session times later in the day and evening. So, I decided to have my schedule from Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm EST to 9 pm EST. I hope this helps accommodate more people.
I like to use humor and positive support as we go on this journey together to help you achieve the goals we identify in session. My goal is to work toward you having the skills, support, and confidence you need to be successful. I like to think outside the box when working with my clients, so just wait and see! Therapy doesn't need to be scary. Let's work together and maybe laugh through some of it. We got this! Together!
What should a new client know about working with you?
After your first session you may be a little if not a lot less worried about what therapy is like with me. Talking and working through stressors can be hard but you will learn that I'm not as scary as the world makes therapist out to be. I roll with things and accept people for who they are and where they are at in their journey.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
