I hold a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Addictions Counseling, both from Liberty University. Additionally, I am certified in Mental Health Teletherapy (CTMH) and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). My therapeutic approach primarily involves Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). CBT is a powerful tool for identifying and correcting negative thoughts and beliefs, helping you to develop healthier thinking patterns. EMDR, on the other hand, is particularly effective for treating PTSD and other trauma-related conditions. Emerging research continues to highlight its effectiveness across a wide range of issues. I firmly believe that therapy should come with certain expectations, much like any other form of treatment. When you come into therapy, you should anticipate positive results and progress. This is achieved through a collaborative effort between us, where we work together to address your concerns and goals. Outside of my professional life, I am deeply committed to supporting military personnel and veterans. This dedication is reflected in my specialization in military and veteran support, as well as my completion of the SonderMind Baseline Veteran Education Program.
