Getting to know Desiree Williams

Hi! My name is Desiree, and I'm the founder and owner of Light at the End Counseling Services, LLC. As a mental health therapist in the state of Florida, I specialize in working with adults, children, and teens struggling with anxiety and stress management. I also see individuals who struggle with self-esteem, relationships, and family issues. My style of counseling is characterized by a kind and direct manner, combined with compassion, in a culturally sensitive context. I am also a certified school counselor. My past work enhanced my professional experience as an educator in St. Lucie County and as a dependency case manager for The Department of Children and Families (DCF). I graduated with honors from Webster University with a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I returned to graduate school to receive my Education Specialist Degree in School Counseling from Florida Atlantic University, graduating with honors. I was born and raised in Florida and enjoy spending time with my family at the beach, especially during those hot summer days!

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
