Getting to know Desrene Sesay
Life is a journey with highs and lows, and sometimes, we just need help navigating. I am happy to be part of that with you. I believe that support makes all the difference in a person’s life when they face challenges and provides a safe space that is full of compassion, empathy, and free of judgment. Each person is unique and worthy of unconditional positive regard and acceptance, regardless of personal circumstances or challenges. By strengthening my relationships with clients, I can better understand their needs and how to support them best. Counseling is a partnership between the client and the counselor.
I hold an undergraduate degree in psychology and earned my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School. I am licensed in the state of Maryland.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
