Getting to know Destiny Grigsby

I'm a graduate of Walden University with a Master's in Social Work. I have 4 years of experience focused on community outreach and mental health. I have a diverse background working with children, adolescents, and the adult population. My expertise is working with clients dealing with anxiety, stress, life coaching, and lifestyle changes. I focus on using Task-Center Practice that promotes empowerment and encourages clients to take control of their own life by utilizing their strengths to set realistic short-term goals to help with problem-solving. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help challenge my client's negative thoughts and turn them into a more positive thought process. Helping clients regain peace of mind and assisting them in reaching their full potential is what I strive for. My motto is, "Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much. And of course don't forget to celebrate the "small" wins." In my spare time, I love spending time with family, traveling, watching movies, and giving back to the community with my little ones.
