Hello! I'm Destiny. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Southern Louisiana. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work in 2021 from Louisiana State University. I have 5 years of clinical experience working in Behavioral Health providing therapeutic services in various settings such as intensive outpatient programs, inpatient treatment facilities, and addiction recovery centers.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with young adults and older dealing with generalized anxiety disorder, depression, PTSD, stress management, codependency, complex trauma, and interpersonal issues. My goal is to encourage an empathic and safe environment for clients to feel comfortable sitting in the uncomfortable and explore healthy ways to grow through active listening and encouraging feedback.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Each approach is chosen based on the needs of the client to encourage empowerment and healing.
