I have 18+ years of experience working with individuals ranging from at-risk youth in outpatient settings to the elderly in geriatric behavioral hospital placements. My focus is helping individuals increase their emotional intelligence, develop practical coping skills, and improve their overall quality of life. My approach Utilizing an eclectic approach, I have found that cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is most effective when combined with exposure therapy, mindfulness practices, interpersonal therapy, and reality therapy for improving emotional management and developing better relationships with others.
