What should a new client know about working with you?

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and accepted just as we are. With an integrative approach utilizing a person-centered lens and elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and collaboration while emphasizing empathy and acceptance. I specialize in working with adults who have experienced anxiety, life transitions, quarter-life crises, women’s issues, past trauma, family conflict, and stress. I strongly believe in the importance of flexibility in the therapeutic environment so that progress can be achieved.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the present moment. While utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I assist clients in clarifying their values, building psychological flexibility, and taking meaningful action toward change. Through a humanistic lens, I create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported in their growth. A typical first session begins with getting to know what brings you to therapy and discussing what you would like to gain from therapy. From there, we will collaboratively determine your treatment plan and goals that will bring you towards the life you want.
