Getting to know Devon Tart

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 5 years of clinical experience supporting individuals with significant behavioral and mental health difficulties. I have experience working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders in PHP and IOP settings, children with behavioral health challenges in a residential setting, and adults who are dually diagnosed with mental health and substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. As a provider I am committed to bringing all of my clinical experience and an open mind to each session to work with every individual in all of their uniqueness. In our first session together, here's what you can expect During session, I will offer a broad and collaborative exploration of circumstances and relate items of note to goals and plans for treatment set during previous sessions. I will invite the patient to lead that exploration at times, and I will also lead when appropriate. At times I may encourage clients to do activities outside of session and return to discuss information gathered or outcomes of those activities. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions I am open minded and flexible with my approach to treatment. The clients I'm best positioned to serve I am equipped to support patients who are experiencing difficulties with respect to anxiety, depression, substance use and other challenging behaviors. My goal will be to help individuals with desire for a change plan meaningfully to bring what they want into reality. Common goals may include reduction in frequency or intensity of symptoms but could also be full remission of symptoms.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
