Hello, I'm Diana. Listening, empowering, and being present with my clients is what I am passionate about. With about 6 years of counseling and clinical experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our sessions. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Hunter College in NYC and am a Licensed Social Worker. My experience spans working with children, adolescents, and individuals of all ages, including geriatrics, in various settings such as hospital clinics, community environments, and educational institutions. I specialize in a range of areas including addiction, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, antisocial behavior, anxiety, children's mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, gender identity, grief/bereavement, intimate/romantic relationships, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, multicultural/diversity issues, PTSD, sex/intimacy issues, sleep disorders, spirituality, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer virtual sessions. In my practice, I utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Instead, I tailor my methods to fit your unique needs and circumstances. My goal is to guide you and assist you in developing strategies to conquer your life goals and overcome challenges. Creating a safe, non-judgmental space is extremely important to me. I wholeheartedly believe that taking care of your mental health is just as crucial as taking care of your physical health, as they both impact each other.
