Hello there! My name is Diana Glende and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. I have over 5 years of experience working with teens and young adults who have experienced a variety of life’s difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and loss. I understand that taking the step to see a therapist can feel overwhelming and daunting, but together we will create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can be 100% yourself. You do not have to go through life’s experiences (good or bad) alone and my goal is to walk alongside you and provide support as you work towards healing, growing, and finding hope. I utilize a client-centered eclectic approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. Together we will create a treatment plan that is unique to your goals and needs. I obtained my Bachelors in Psychology from The University of Tampa and my Masters in Social work specializing in Forensic Mental Health from Loyola University of Chicago. For the past 5 years I have worked closely with youth and young adults who have been impacted by trauma and violence in their communities. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, hiking, and spending time with my two dogs. I look forward to meeting you!
