Psychotherapist
NJ
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. With 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, I provide a warm, compassionate, and culturally responsive environment where clients can safely explore life's challenges and build on their strengths. I have a special passion for working with female tweens and teens, mothers, and immigrant women who are navigating identity, cultural transitions, life changes, relationships, and the demands of everyday life. I help clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, and relationship concerns by combining practical coping strategies with deeper insight-oriented work. My therapeutic approach is individualized and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, strengths-based therapy, and trauma-informed care. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach, and together we will create a treatment plan that fits your unique goals and needs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don't have to have everything figured out before your first session. My goal is to meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels comfortable, and create a safe, judgment-free space where you can be yourself. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist, mother of two, and first-generation daughter of immigrant parents, I understand the importance of cultural identity, family dynamics, and the unique challenges many individuals and families face. My hope is that you leave each session feeling understood, supported, and empowered.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session focuses on getting to know you—your story, current concerns, strengths, and what you hope to accomplish in therapy. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and develop a personalized treatment plan. As therapy progresses, we'll work collaboratively to build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, process difficult emotions, and overcome obstacles while celebrating your progress. My goal is to help you develop lasting tools and confidence that support your well-being long after therapy ends.
