Getting to know Diana Luu
Hello! I am the founder of Lighthouse Counseling of San Antonio, PLLC. Here is a little bit of information about my professional background and interests. I am an Asian American, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) based in San Antonio. I earned both my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Master’s in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I take pride in using my education and skills to provide culturally sensitive counseling services to clients here in San Antonio and virtually to anyone in the state of Texas.
My focus is working with adults who face hardships—basically any challenge that may cause or be accompanied by potential, existing, or chronic mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse or alcohol addiction, unresolved or complicated grief, family issues, or difficult experiences. I strive to meet clients where they are in their process, explore their concerns, and provide a safe and therapeutic space for them to share their experiences. I use a variety of approaches tailored to their needs, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
