Hi, I'm Diana! As your therapist, it is my goal to create a safe space for you to share your story and allow me to assist you when appropriate. Life has been life-ing lately and sometimes it's just best to talk it out with someone out of your circle. I want you to see yourself as the driver to your life and me as your GPS, helping you navigate through your journey. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work that has several years of experience in the field. I work with various populations including age, cultural background, sexual orientation, gender identity, and socioeconomic status. My areas of expertise are in Stress, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Addictions, PTSD, and First-Generation lifestyle. I use a Humanistic approach to help my clients bring out the best in themselves. I like to use humor, challenging questions, and a direct approach because I think in counseling we should create an environment where we are not beating around the bush, but are also having fun while doing it. My favorite activities to do outside of therapy are hiking, cooking, reading, traveling and watching the latest stuff on Netflix (...and then gossiping about it after with some friends).
