Psychotherapist
1300 W Lynn St, Ste 213, Austin, TX
Hello, I'm Diana. Congratulations on taking the first step to start therapy. For over 20 years, I've worked with individuals and families to resolve conflicts and foster more meaningful relationships. Anxiety and depression can cloud our ability to see ourselves and others in a positive light. Together, we can challenge negative thinking that blocks goal attainment and regulate overwhelming emotions in a safe environment. As a bilingual therapist, I offer services in both English and Spanish, ensuring that language is never a barrier to receiving the support you need. My areas of work include anxiety, depression, loss and grief, trauma, anger management, domestic violence, sexuality, addictions, conflict resolution, and divorce. My treatment approaches include Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, EMDR, Attachment Theory, Gestalt Theory, and Somatic Experiencing. I hold a Master's degree (MA) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My extensive experience has equipped me with the skills to help you navigate life's challenges and transitions. Whether you're dealing with PTSD, intimate and romantic relationship issues, or seeking LGBTQIA+ support, I'm here to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings and experiences. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and empathetic approach. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship and strive to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to help you uncover your strengths and develop strategies to overcome obstacles, leading to a more fulfilling and balanced life. Outside of my professional life, I value continuous learning and personal growth. I am passionate about staying updated with the latest therapeutic techniques to provide the best care for my clients.
