Allow me to introduce myself. I am a flawed person saved by grace, interested in helping you become the best version of yourself that you have been designed to be. I have done my work and continue to do my work, and now I am willing to help you in the capacity you need to be whole and healthy. I believe we never arrive; however, we remain on an axle, ever evolving to find that balance in the universe. I have learned over the years that you cannot keep what you have unless you are willing to be a blessing to others. I have been blessed with a wealth of knowledge and well over 20 years of experience I am willing to share, meeting you where you are in your process of healing. My experience in ministry and years of working in the substance abuse and mental health fields have afforded me the opportunity to witness the miraculous in the lives of so many. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, which has further deepened my understanding and skills. My therapeutic approach is derived from techniques inspired by Aaron Beck, who instituted Cognitive Therapy. In addition, I strongly believe in the essential factors necessary for growth from a person-centered perspective: self-actualization, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
