Getting to know Dianna Fruge

I'm Dianna Fruge, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. I've been working in mental health for over 30 years. I've worked with people of all ages from pre-school to seniors. For the last few years, I've been working with adults, helping them to navigate those trying times in life, that we all have. My specialties include depression, anxiety, life adjustments, and grief and loss. I have also worked with people struggling with co-occurring problems, such as substance abuse and trauma. I have a Masters in Social Work from LSU, and work to help up and coming social workers, that are new to the profession. I have served as a past board member on the Louisiana National Association of Social Workers, and am a proud member of that professional organization. I enjoy playing the piano, history and traveling. I am a Cancer survivor, so I understand going through hard times and coming out better on the other side. My philosophy is you are the expert in your life, and I'm here to help you discover and use your strengths, to get through whatever temporary problem you may be having.
