Dina Molina, LCSW

Dina Molina, LCSW

Psychotherapist
NY
My unique style of therapy is a holistic approach with conversational sessions where I offer a warm, compassionate, and genuine presence to all of my clients. I combine talk therapy models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy tenets because they recognize the client as the expert in their own life. I also incorporate mindfulness practices, including meditation, oil healing, breath work, and nutritional tools to encourage healing of the mind, body, and spirit. My number one goal is always to create a safe, judgment-free space to support your growth. When working with adolescents and teens, I build rapport that supports healing by providing play therapy along with age-appropriate talk therapy to understand challenges within their lives. I further encourage healthy, communicative relationships between parents and children by allowing parents to be part of sessions when needed. As a marriage and family therapist, I am trained to help couples understand their relational problems. I incorporate Gottman, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy tenets to help partners understand communication and attachment styles, increasing understanding, respect, affection, and intimacy between you and your partner. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Hunter College, City University of New York. My belief is that healing begins within you first, and through this journey, clients can let go of deep-rooted fears, false or limited self-beliefs, and repair damaged relationships. Throughout this healing process, I join you with patience while offering honest, supportive feedback that makes progress and change more enduring. I look forward to starting this healing process with you and your family!
