With over 35 years of diverse experience in clinical social work, behavioral health, and substance use disorders I have consistently demonstrated commitment to excellence in client care and clinical supervision. I obtained my MSSA (MSW) degree in social science administration (Clinical Social Work) in 1993 from Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio) and have been in the Social Work field since 1990. I am an independently licensed Clinical Social Worker (LISW-S) with supervisory training designation, I am also an independently licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC-CS) with clinical supervisory designation and a Board-Certified Case Manager (CCM) with over 10 years of experience in Case Management in the healthcare insurance industry. I have focused my expertise in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, child abuse/neglect histories, and substance use disorders. I utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Integrated Dual Diagnosis treatment.
