Getting to know Divine Braboy

I seek to provide a safe space to engage my clients and help them explore their challenges, release current and past trauma, and develop effective strategies to reduce stress. I work collaboratively with clients to set goals that decrease the frequency, intensity, and duration of anxiety, unhappiness, and pressure. My approach is client centered and focuses on empowering clients to improve daily functioning. I hold a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University of Chicago, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois and a part of the NBCC or National Board of Certified Counselors. I have extensive training and experience in working with diverse populations and life challenges. Together, we’ll focus on building self-esteem, reducing anxiety, strengthening coping skills, and improving social and communication skills. We'll tap into your unique strengths to navigate your challenges and foster resilience. I believe that life is a journey, not a destination. As your therapist, think of me as a compass, assisting you in navigating life’s difficulties and providing a roadmap of support, empowerment and success. You don’t have to go at it alone.
